Erik Patterson has been a professional screenwriter for over 20 years. You may know his work because his movies defined your childhood (Another Cinderella Story, Radio Rebel), you love a good Hallmark binge (the Sister Swap movies, Love on a Limb), or you like being scared (14 episodes of R.L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour, Abandoned, Deep Blue Sea 2). He’s been nominated for two Emmy Awards, and he’s the recipient of the Humanities Award and the WGA Award. His play One of the Nice Ones won the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Play. During the pandemic, he created the Your Daily Writing Prompt TikTok account to inspire other writers, and quickly gained over 300k followers, which led to the creation of the Pop Prompts book series.
